About The Position

Under the direction of the Research and Statistics Manager this position participates actively in the management team of Criminal Justice Analytics Bureau, including consulting with the Director, Deputy Director, Bureau Chiefs and other division and section leaders on the formulation of overall goals and objectives, policy and operational issues, and special projects. Responsible for supervision of staff and incumbent spends the majority of time communicating with, motivating, training and evaluating members while planning and directing their work.

Requirements

• At least one year of supervisory, team lead, or project coordination experience.
• At least one year of experience in data analysis, data reporting or data management.

Responsibilities

• Providing overall management and directions of all activities in the sub-section
• Consulting with section supervisors and administrative staff to resolve programmatic, administrative and operational issues and problems
• Assesses/analyzes and makes recommendations to resolve issues and problems within the Bureau
• Acting as liaison with internal regarding criminal justice data
