The Manager HR Business Partner position is responsible for continuously pursuing HR functional excellence and supporting Midwest Automotive Designs strategy with maximizing organizational capabilities and creating a high performing, highly engaged culture. The HR Manager, Business Partner drives the employee experience in terms of systems, processes, training, culture and helps to create a work environment that attracts, retains, and energizes key talent.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business
Minimum of eight years human resources experience in a manufacturing environment
Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations
Unquestionable integrity and ability to work in a highly confidential environment
Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task
Innovative team player
Intermediate computer skills are required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Commitment to excellence and high standards
Sound judgment with the ability to make timely, and sometimes difficult, decisions
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and direct HR-related activities to meet or exceed established goals in a cost-effective manner
Help drive productivity and performance, using HR systems and analytics to understand business issues, trends, and recommended course correction. Includes disposition of key metrics, projected budget outlook, employee relations issues, reasons for labor turnover, etc.
Lead, communicate, and coach to cultivate a motivated employee environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, and business ownership
Identify, document, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
Collaborate with other HR employees to drive consistent process excellence across Human Resources in areas such as employee engagement, employee and leadership development, etc.
Assist leaders in defining and executing workforce planning to ensure appropriate staffing levels
Proactively work with Talent Acquisition team to prepare for future vacancies
Collaborate with leaders in upgrading the skills and capabilities of employees through identification, development and retention of talent
Drive talent review and management processes including succession planning for key roles
Conduct investigations and advise leaders in the appropriate resolution of employee related issues
Manage and interpret policies and practices within the facilities, ensuring fair and consistent application
Provide leadership and focus on people implications of organizational change
Model and promote company vision, mission, and values
Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
