The Engineering Manager is an experienced facility support role on the Automation Services team. The Engineering Manager runs capital projects to replace equipment and correct issues with building systems, working with engineering firms and mechanical contractors to complete these projects. The Engineering Manager provides coaching for poor performers back to baseline and solving operational deficiencies with the facilities' building systems.

  • Project management as technical expert
  • Create and execute improvement plans for poor performing facilities
  • Maintain support for building automation systems
  • Operate building automation software
  • Train facility and corporate staff in building system operation
  • Work with engineering firms and mechanical contractors to solve issues
  • Answer phone calls and support facility staff in operational efforts
  • Coach facility staff in building operation
  • Monitor reporting dashboards and find deficiencies
  • Expert understanding of mechanical building systems - required
  • Strong customer service skills - required
  • Engineering or Engineering Technology degree (or equivalent experience) required
  • Mechanical Engineering degree strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience - required
