About The Position

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Manager, Global Sales Training (Remote). What you will do: Design, deliver, and continuously improve global sales training programs that strengthen sales skills, product knowledge, and overall sales effectiveness across regions. Partner closely with global and regional sales leaders to identify capability gaps, prioritize training needs, and ensure learning initiatives support sales goals and growth plans. Lead the execution of training programs end‑to-end, including planning rollouts, reviewing learner feedback, and making real‑time adjustments based on performance data. Manage and coach a global team of sales training leaders, setting clear expectations, supporting professional development, and fostering a high‑performance, learner‑focused culture. Balance global consistency with regional flexibility by establishing training standards while enabling local teams to adapt content for market and cultural relevance. Measure training effectiveness using defined KPIs such as learner engagement, knowledge retention, and sales performance impact, and use insights to drive continuous improvement. Communicate program outcomes and recommendations to senior stakeholders through clear reporting and regular updates that demonstrate value and return on investment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in sales training, adult learning, or instructional design
  • 6-8 years of experience leading and developing people, including remote or globally distributed teams
  • Demonstrated success managing large‑scale or global training programs
  • Professional certifications in sales training, instructional design, leadership, or facilitation preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage global stakeholders
  • Global Sales Training Strategy: Ability to design and scale training programs aligned with sales objectives and growth goals
  • Instructional Design & Facilitation: Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and experience delivering virtual and in‑person training
