About The Position

The Manager, Global Relations and Community Engagement, advances Y-USA’s global relations and community engagement (GRACE) priorities by leading financial stewardship, international and domestic/national grant administration, and global program strategy. This position strengthens organizational capacity and collaboration across the global YMCA network by aligning financial, programmatic, and partnership efforts to strengthen YMCA capacity, impact, and collaboration worldwide. YMCA of the USA (Y-USA) embraces a remote-first working environment which means most employees work remotely from a home office within the continental United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required in a relevant field such as Business, or related disciplines required.
  • 4-8 years of experience required

Responsibilities

  • Leads GRACE financial planning, budgeting, reconciliation, monitoring, and reporting, in partnership with Y-USA Finance, Financial Development, and Legal Departments, ensuring compliance with donor, regulatory, and audit requirements.
  • Manages external and internal GRACE grant administration processes, coordinating grant agreements, reporting, and compliance in partnership with international YMCAs, Finance, Legal, and Financial Development.
  • Co-leads global youth initiatives in partnership with Y-USA, local U.S. YMCAs, Area Alliances, and the World YMCA, overseeing selection processes, strategic alignment, and cohort learning implementation.
  • Supports the design and delivery of global and national programs and events to strengthen organizational capacity and shared learning across the YMCA network.
  • Provides service delivery support rooted in the GRACE Leading Practices to deepen the global engagement of the U.S. YMCA movement.
