About The Position

The Manager, Inventory Management & S&OP plays a meaningful role in supporting Crocs’ global inventory management and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. This role is responsible for driving execution, analysis, and cross-functional coordination to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and inventory objectives across regions. The position partners closely with Regional Planning, Capacity, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to support inventory performance visibility, identify risks and trade-offs, and translate S&OP outputs into actionable plans and recommendations. This role contributes to the evolution toward automated, longer-term inventory planning through the o9 platform, while maintaining strong focus on near- to mid-term execution and decision support.

Requirements

  • Minimum Experience 5 years of extensive experience in inventory management, supply chain optimization, demand planning and/or S&OP roles
  • At least 2 years of experience leading others
  • Experience supporting S&OP or integrated planning processes in a global or multi-region environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Experience working with sophisticated planning systems (e.g., o9, IBP platforms, or similar tools).
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to operate successfully in a matrixed organization with indirect leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Complete and support global inventory planning processes, balancing service, cost, and risk throughout different regions and channels.
  • Monitor inventory performance metrics (e.g., turns, weeks of supply, E&O, ownership at cost), highlighting risks, variances, and opportunities vs. targets.
  • Identify inventory risks related to supply commitments, liabilities, and factory exposure; escalate issues with clear analysis and recommended actions.
  • Support consistent application of inventory KPIs and definitions across regions in alignment with global standards.
  • Support the end-to-end global S&OP process by coordinating inputs from Demand, Supply, Capacity, and Finance across regions.
  • Prepare scenario analysis, trade-off views, and risk assessments to enable informed decision-making by senior leaders.
  • Develop clear, data-driven S&OP materials that connect volume, inventory, capacity, and financial implications.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of S&OP cadence, tools, and ways of working.
  • Work alongside Regional Planning departments to help convert global inventory targets into region-specific plans.
  • Act as a key integrator between global objectives and regional execution, ensuring consistency in assumptions and outputs.
  • Support regions in balancing near-term service objectives with longer-term inventory health and risk mitigation.
  • Assist in aligning pre-buy strategies, inventory positioning, and ownership across regions and supply partners.
  • Collaborate with Capacity and Production Planning groups to ensure inventory plans are feasible within supply and capacity constraints.
  • Provide volume and mix insights to support long-term capacity planning and sourcing discussions.
  • Support adoption of system-led stock control and sales and operations planning through o9 and other planning tools.
  • Help transition teams from spreadsheet-based planning toward standardized, technology-supported processes.
  • Contribute to documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials related to inventory and S&OP processes.
