Scope: This role covers financial responsibilities for CooperVision’s North American (Americas) entities. It involves collaboration with local and global operations teams, finance, IT, commercial, tax, divisional CVI, and the CVI consolidations team. It may also include managing relationships with external parties (e.g., sales & use tax consultants). Job Summary: The General Accounting Manager is responsible for North America accounting and financial reporting to Corporate. Duties include preparing and reviewing ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and regulatory reporting (e.g., tax, SEC filings). The role also includes researching accounting issues for GAAP compliance and supervising accounting staff.
