Manager, Fleet Finance is responsible for overseeing financially impacted areas of fleet including the lifecycle management of leased equipment assets across Centuri’s operations. Budgeting both departmentally and global CapEx lease budgets focuses on maximizing asset value, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, logistics, and vendor partners to optimize asset performance and disposition strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
  • ASA or equivalent appraisal certification preferred
  • 5 years of experience in equipment asset management

Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive continuous improvement in the CapEx/Lease budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Partner with Operating Units to ensure CapEx/Lease forecasts are current and aligned for proper reporting and communications.
  • Implementation and continuous improvement of asset acquisition processes.
  • Collaborate with leasing partners to develop, implement, and ensure internal processes are followed and executed.
  • Work closely with Finance to determine appropriate lease structures, including LOC and lease type.
  • Works with finance team to manage lease assignments including LOC and lease type
  • Identify new leasing partnerships while continuing to review opportunities with existing leasing partners.
  • Manage and track all leases from initiation through termination.
  • Assess leased equipment to determine market value based on condition, brand, age, and demand.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners—such as appraisers, vendors, and brokers—to ensure accurate valuations.
  • Monitor market trends and resale conditions to support asset disposition strategies.
  • Evaluate costs related to deinstallation, transport, and storage; recommend cost effective solutions.
  • Oversee fixed asset lifing and full lease lifecycles, from acquisition to resale.
  • Track asset performance and ROI, adjusting strategies to align with business needs.
  • Maintain relationships with equipment vendors, brokers, and buyers.
  • Partner with sales, operations, and customer service teams to align asset strategies with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate asset status, valuation, and performance metrics.
  • Builds and maintains budgets for all fleet reporting verticals.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Travel as necessary
