About The Position

The Manager of Financial Systems in FP&A will lead a team of analysts to oversee the support and optimization of financial system within a dynamic Finance department. The ideal candidate combines systems acumen, an entrepreneurial spirit, and analytical skills to drive innovation and efficiency. The ideal FP&A Manager will bring advanced analytical and quantitative disciplines, ability to construct financial models for complex business questions, mature judgement and proactive communication. Essential Functions Collaborate with Finance leadership to manage, develop, and provide strategic insights for all financial systems and associated applications. Take full responsibility for maintaining, administering, and supporting all financial systems within the finance department. Provide productionized and ad hoc financial reporting. Stay informed on industry trends and actively seek opportunities to improve system efficiency, enhance capabilities, and ensure systems are always up to date with the latest advancements. Develop and deliver training programs that empower end users, promoting self-sufficiency and ensuring they have the knowledge and tools needed to effectively navigate financial systems. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and best practices. Serve as the primary contact for troubleshooting financial system issues, collaborating with technical support teams as needed. Lead and develop a team of high performing financial analysts, mentor them on career development, prioritize and guide projects to a timely completion, thoroughly review all deliverables for accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; prefer degree in Finance, Accounting, or another quantitative field
  • MBA strongly preferred
  • Experience with financial systems.
  • Experience with Anaplan or Workday is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working in finance with at least 1 year of financial systems experience
  • 1 to 2 years of leadership experience preferred
  • Advanced analytical and technical finance skills
  • Dedicated work-ethic, personal and professional integrity, and a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated understanding of economic, financial, and accounting concepts
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to independently prioritize for self and team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to structure logical analytical approaches and to apply a range of quantitative techniques to solve business problems in an efficient, timely manner
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel, Dynamics 365, Power BI, Anaplan and other software tools used for data mining and analysis
