The Finance Manager supporting the IT organization serves as a strategic business partner to technology leadership, providing financial insight, planning, and decision support across IT operations and investments. This role leads budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning for technology spend, translates complex financial data into actionable insights, and ensures alignment between IT initiatives and enterprise financial objectives. The Finance Manager enables informed decision‑making by evaluating investment tradeoffs, monitoring performance, managing risks and opportunities, and driving financial discipline while supporting innovation, transformation, and efficient use of technology resources. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • Finance experience supporting Shared Services or IT Organization
  • 5 years of experience in a Finance or FP&A role
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle), Smartview, financial planning software, Power BI and related technologies
  • Experience with large databases with the ability to utilize data from various BI systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Experience supporting Business Leadership and building executive level presentations

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary finance partner to IT leadership, supporting strategic, operational, and investment decision‑making
  • Lead annual budget, Forecasts and Monthly reporting processes for IT operating expense and capital expenditure
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, variances, and key drivers; communicate insights and risks to Finance and IT leadership
  • Partner closely with Accounting and IT PMO to ensure accurate financial tracking and compliance
  • Lead cost optimization initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, eliminate waste, and redeploy investment
  • Drive continuous improvement in IT FP&A processes, forecasting accuracy, and financial transparency
