Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis
About The Position
This position will be within RTR’s FP&A team which is central to strategic decision making. The successful candidate will be responsible for core parts of RTR’s business - Operations (Warehouse Labor & Fulfillment, Transportation) and Company Wide Operating Expenses. The position will be highly cross-functional across RTR’s supply chain. This position plays a vital role in achieving our strategic goals, will have direct interaction with the C-suite and as such the incumbent should have an entrepreneurial drive, be able to interact with a variety of people, develop and maintain complex models, demonstrate flexibility, and meet rapid deadlines. The position will have the support of a Senior Analyst, who will report into this role as their manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
- 4+ years of finance and strategic analysis experience in banking or an operational role.
- Proficient in financial analysis and model building.
- Entrepreneurial drive, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

- Experience with detailed cost, labor, inventory or transportation data & model building preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partnering with the Supply Chain teams to track, project and optimize labor, transportation and fulfillment.
- Performing strategic analysis and modeling to help inform the above teams in key business decisions.
- Presenting, analyzing, and interpreting relevant financial data to senior leadership - partnering closely with key leaders to impact strategic business decisions.
- Owning budgeting process for Operations and G&A including annual review and analysis, assigning department specific budgets, and tracking monthly/quarterly actuals vs. budget.
- Lead cost efficiency initiatives across operations, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify savings opportunities and support execution
- Build scenario-based models linking operational drivers to financial outcomes to facilitate decision making across cost, service, and capacity
- Analyzing competitor performance and market trends.
- Establishing and reporting key operating metrics used to drive the business to greater efficiency.
- Preparing and delivering daily, weekly and monthly management reports to key constituents.
- Functioning effectively in an especially fast-paced start-up operating environment, managing time effectively to address high priority items in a timely manner.
- Assisting in preparation of materials for Earnings and Board of Director meetings.
