About The Position

Manager, FP&A Labcorp is seeking a hybrid Manager, FP&A to join our team at 531 S Spring Street, Burlington, NC or 10 Moore Drive, Durham, NC. Schedule : 8am-5pm, Monday – Friday (EST) This schedule includes a minimum of three in‑office days per week at Burlington, NC or Durham, NC and two days working remotely, supporting both collaboration and flexibility Responsibilities: Leads robust business planning through accurate budgeting/forecasting Responsible for financial plans to understand the revenue and cost drivers of a business Summarize and contextualize financial results Strategic business partner who leverages relationships with Senior Level Operational Leads to drive financial planning Advise on capital expenditure proposals, portfolio choices, and productivity investments; highlight trade-offs and value levers (e.g., automation, talent, vendor optimization). Produce C-suite materials that elevate the “so what” — implications for margin, growth, and risk. Establish KPIs and leading indicators for functions (e.g., productivity of headcount; ROI; cost-to-serve considerations). Standardize business partnering processes and automate reporting/forecasting using Oracle PBCS, HFM, PeopleSoft, Oracle Fusion Cloud and Microsoft Office. Translate complex financial information into clear, concise, executive-ready narratives

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or Related Field
  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years experience in a matrixed, multi-site, multinational environment
  • 7+ FP&A or corporate finance experience
  • 7+ years experience within the life sciences/related industry
  • 3+ months of experience with PeopleSoft, Hyperion, Essbase, Oracle
  • Strong networking, team working and relationship management skills
  • Strong business acumen; understands business implications of decisions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement
  • Supports and explains reasoning for decisions/recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to work independently
