About The Position

The Manager, Family Office will be responsible for special projects and the movement of household valuables, merchandise, and products. The Manager will ensure that any problems are dealt with efficiently and that the process is tailored to meet expectations. As a Manager, Family Office you will:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university Req and
  • 5-8 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Required
  • Must have excellent customer service and communications skills
  • Must have strong management skills as the role is centered on the efficient coordination of tasks and people
  • Must exhibit high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Must have ability to manage and execute multiple projects at a given time
  • Must be able to research and gather information from a variety of sources
  • Needs to develop well-rounded and thorough recommendations and action plans
  • Should be able to anticipate needs and respond proactively
  • Needs be able to work independently and exercise independent judgment
  • Is able to promote, coordinate, and support change
  • Is available to travel with trips ranging from short one hour tasks to multiple day events
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day movement of household valuables, merchandise, and products including setting schedules, coordinating logistics, dispatching/delegating work, and prioritizing routes
  • Monitor the quality of the team’s work according to standards set by the business
  • Oversee maintenance needs of the trucks and address accordingly
  • In charge of communication with family members to guarantee a smooth transition on all moves and ensuring there is as little disruption throughout the move process as possible
  • Calculate costs throughout the move process and work within budget limitations
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Directly supervises one or more associates.
  • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
