About The Position

This Manager, Faculty Operations supports the Program Chair (Pre-Licensure) by coordinating and facilitating faculty operations within the assigned Online ASN/BSN Programs . This role is responsible for ensuring effective teaching and learning environments, supporting faculty development and scholarly activities, and maintaining high standards of academic and institutional service. The Manager, Faculty Operations assists with faculty scheduling, onboarding, and resource access; tracks professional development and compliance; and serves as a key point of contact for faculty operational needs. By promoting collaboration, organization, and communication, the Manager, Faculty Operations helps foster a positive, inclusive, and efficient academic community. The Manager, Faculty Operations reports to the assigned academic Program Chair.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing
  • The Faculty Manager must hold credentials for faculty appointment in the assigned program area.
  • 3 years of experience as a faculty member at an institution of higher education.

  • Online teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate faculty teaching schedules, classroom assignments, and coverage for absences.
  • Assist with faculty onboarding, orientation, and training logistics.
  • Provide guidance to faculty on the use of institutional technology and resources.
  • Assist faculty in accessing instructional materials, technology support, and student information systems.
  • Conduct classroom observation process in alignment with university standard operation procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure pre-term and end-of-term course activities are completed in conjunction with university SOPs.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and inclusive environment among faculty.
  • Monitor the development and fulfillment of faculty development plans and the completion of aligned development activities.
  • Ensure faculty complete all required development and training.
  • Collaborate with Faculty Development Specialists (FDSs) to coach and develop faculty instructional strategies.
  • Provide support to assigned faculty meetings, workshops, and development/training activities.
  • Support the Department Chair or Program Chair in preparing materials for accreditation, regulatory, or advisory board meetings.
  • Support the Department Chair or Program Chair in monitoring the fulfillment of faculty performance standards; prepare reports for academic leadership to provide regular updates of the achievement of faculty performance standards.
  • Track faculty compliance with institutional policies and deadlines.
  • Monitor faculty engagement/participation in course collaboration, faculty assembly, and department meetings.
  • Maintain up-to-date faculty contact lists and distribute relevant communications.
  • Serve as a point of contact for faculty regarding operational questions and routine matters.
  • Facilitate communication between faculty and the Department Chair or Program Chair, Academic Dean of Online Learning, or other departments as needed.
  • Distribute program updates, policy changes, and event information to faculty.
  • Assist with preparation and submission of reports related to faculty activities and program operations.
