About The Position

The Manager of Facility Services is responsible for planning, organizing, supervision, coordination, and control the activities of the plant operations and maintenance functions. The activities are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utilities and grounds in an operative and safe working condition. Coordinate quality customer service activities, purchasing, payroll, and budgeting processes. Participate in the work activities of assigned teams through providing assistance, serving as the technical resource and participating in the work as a member of the team. Responsible for coordinating the delivery of high-quality services that meets or exceeds customer expectations. The Manager for Facility Services provides essential support to the Director and the Facilities team by performing a wide range of administrative and operational functions. Key responsibilities include managing regulatory compliance documentation, preparing for and tracking corrective actions from inspections, and maintaining accurate records to support survey readiness. The position oversees the hospital’s work order and preventive maintenance systems to ensure timely execution and proper prioritization of tasks. This role also serves as the primary point of contact for contractors, coordinating schedules, verifying compliance with hospital policies, and monitoring performance. Additionally, the position conducts routine inspections of the physical environment to identify deficiencies, ensure safety standards are met, and support continuous improvement of the hospital’s facility operations

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record (Required)
  • 4 years of Maintenance Management experience (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a trade school program (Strongly Preferred)
  • Possession of a relevant trade license (Strongly preferred)
  • Previous experience in skilled trades, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas systems, or life safety systems (Strongly Preferred)
  • Experience working in a hospital or other clinical setting (Strongly preferred)
