What You Will Achieve In this role, you will: Supervise and develop a diverse vendor lead AV and multimedia support team, including technicians, producers, and project managers. Provide leadership in customer service, vendor training and development, business management, and strategic planning. Oversee daily AV operations, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance for meetings and events across multiple sites. Lead production for onsite, offsite, and hybrid events, ensuring professional-grade audio and video experiences. Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external vendors, audio visual service stakeholders and global partners. Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to align AV services with organizational goals, ensuring global consistency and quality of AV services Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and operational standards. Manage incident response and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Oversee vendor management, contracted services and cost-saving initiatives. Support organizational initiatives to enhance collaboration through AV technology. Drive process improvements, standardization, and best practices across AV operations. Provide training and guidance to staff and end-users on AV systems. Create and maintain Monthly and quarterly metrics

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with at four years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree with two years of relevant experience; OR Associate's degree with seven years of relevant experience; OR Ph.D. with 0+ years of experience; OR 9 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven leadership, collaboration, and people management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of AV systems, media production, and event technology.
  • Experience in corporate AV/events or broadcast environments.
  • Experience with AV production tools and software (e.g., vMix, OBS, Microsoft Teams Rooms).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver high-quality results.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of complex multi-site audio, video, and web-based events, preferably in a large, global environment
  • Extensive proven experience in large Information Technology organizations
  • Ability to interface with customers at all organizational levels and build effective relationships with senior management
  • Strong participation on cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in large, global organizations or the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • CTS or other AV Industry certifications are preferred
