As the IT Manager of Epic Revenue Cycle Applications, you’ll lead a dynamic team of Epic analysts who are supporting the expansion of our organization through new clinics and hospitals. Your expertise will shape how we effectively support the organization’s long-term vision. A health care background, Epic experience, and experience with complex IT projects are musts. You would bring your demonstrated ability to develop relationships, foster a culture of teamwork, and implement sustainable solutions. This is a remote position with occasional travel requirements. Must reside in the following states: FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MO, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV Job Summary: Oversees the management, administration, and strategy of Epic applications. Provides Epic electronic health record system expertise and key consultation, business acumen and internal and external environment awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education
  • Five years' experience in Epic functionality, design, configuration, and technical environment concepts/functions, with two years' in demonstrated progressive leadership
  • Epic Certification or Accreditation, current or lapsed, is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Leadership of Epic-certified revenue cycle application teams, with emphasis on projects for new clinics and hospitals, is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides management, administration, and strategy of the Epic application.
  • Leads a team responsible for performing Epic software installations and upgrades, configuration of enhancements and developments, security, reporting, and performance management.
  • Assesses the scope and potential impact of an issue or opportunity.
  • Uses business criteria and values to evaluate alternative courses of action.
  • Makes decisions as appropriate or escalates to leadership.
  • Collaborates with internal and external leaders to drive initiatives.
  • Focuses on desired results and business outcomes, taking appropriate actions to ensure obligations are met.
  • Navigates changes and uncertainties with ease and with the ability to move forward quickly.
  • Identifies and acts upon opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Recruits, engages, develops, leads, and manages assigned staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
