We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft. This role is onsite in Fort Worth, TX. Environmental Health and Safety Team Because Bell has multiple sites around the world, the EHS organization must stay in tune with ever changing safety and environmental regulations established by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), OSHA, and other country regulatory agencies. Sites include manufacturing, maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO), warehousing and logistic centers, innovation and test environments, offices, and military bases. Site leaders, environmental engineers, and industrial hygienists must stay aligned with current technologies, testing, measurement technologies and regulatory requirements. As Bell continues to develop new technologies, add new programs and grow in depth and breadth of customer support, additional resources are required to maintain compliance and ensure a safe and healthy workforce locally and around the world. This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with customers and subcontractors. You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities on significant engineering problems, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication. What you’ll be doing as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager: Environmental Health and Safety Manager provides leadership, technical expertise, and guidance to staff to aid in the elimination of workforce injuries, provide environmental management, and ensure regulatory compliance. The manager provides key inputs to the overall strategy for the EH&S function and ensures activities are effectively managed and continuously improved to align with Textron Corporate EHS policies and procedures, OSHA and all other applicable regulatory agencies that govern any of Bell’s sites. Overall organization responsibility includes staffing and physical responsibility for the sites that are assigned to the manager by the VP Quality and EH&S, Director, or Sr. EHS Manager.
