About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to support the implementation and continuous improvement of our safety programs. This role is key in promoting a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA and ISO 14001 standards, and reducing risks from workplace hazards. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in EHS or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of EHS experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Experience with workman's compensation
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO 14001
  • Experience with inspections, training, audits, and root cause analysis
  • Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods across large operational areas
  • Ability to climb, bend, and access elevated or confined spaces for inspections
  • Comfortable wearing required PPE and working in a variety of environmental conditions (noise, heat, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support hydraulic and high-pressure systems, ensuring safe operation and compliance with applicable standards
  • Conduct ergonomic assessments and improvements, utilizing Humantech methodologies and tools
  • Manage workers’ compensation claims, including incident investigation, documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead and support ISO 14001 environmental management system audits, including preparation, execution, and recertification efforts
  • Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and drive preventative safety initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to promote a strong safety and compliance culture
