About The Position

The Entertainment Events Manager is responsible for planning and executing entertainment/production support across the property with the main area of focus at Zouk, Ayu, and RedTail. The role is fast paced with high customer service standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to interacting with guests, clients, internal and external partners to ensure an exceptional experience. This role supports the Zouk sales team and operations team on all private events.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in a management function with large scale, location based, live theatrical production and convention/special events.
  • At least three years in a leadership/management role in a similar or related field.
  • Must have experience with project planning and management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and graphic management.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to operate with multiple deadlines.
  • Full knowledge of all product and equipment within job scope
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of OSHA health and safety protocols.
  • College diploma (or equivalent) in live entertainment or theatre production (or equivalent work experience).
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Position required licenses.
  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
  • Prolonged sitting/standing.
  • Bending and reaching.
  • Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Eye/hand coordination.
  • Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
  • Technical-level knowledge and experience with digital and analog A/V technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Logistics planning and execution support for special events and shows across property involving Entertainment Production support.
  • Maintaining communication with all clients, internal team members, and external vendors.
  • Establishing and maintaining technical production relationships with vendors and internal/external partners.
  • Working alongside the Zouk production department to deliver a maximum level of customer service and production value.
  • Vetting quotes and processing invoices.
  • Generating, overseeing, and tracking event/show schedules and timelines.
  • Managing multiple functions simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Contributing to the financial health of the property outlets by maximizing revenue opportunities and controlling costs.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Adhere to and promote all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations as they pertain to the safe operation of all elements related to the show; participate in all required health and safety classes and emergency rescue procedure training.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.
