Job Summary:
The Flag Runner will work at all Tampa Bay Buccaneers home games in addition to large-scale events and Training Camp when deemed necessary. Flag Runners add to the overall game day and event atmosphere by engaging fans and feeding off the game’s energy to pump up the fans for crucial moments throughout the game.

Requirements

• Ability to run while carrying a 20lb flag
• Ability to adhere to, deliver, and execute timelines, rundowns, layouts, promotions, and entertainment elements on game days
• Ability to work with and assist other crews as needed
• Must be lively, outgoing, enthusiastic, positive, hardworking, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent in entertaining, communicating, engaging, and interacting with crowds and individuals
• Flexible and capable in the ability to lead and be led
• Ability to work well under pressure, on multiple tasks, and troubleshoot where necessary
• Ability to throw/toss promotional items prior, during, and after the event
• Must be able to communicate effectively with teammates/leads and Events & Entertainment Manager/Coordinator, and be responsive to feedback
• Must be able to work flexible hours for Game Days and Events (including weekends, nights, and holidays)
• Must be able to work all Buccaneers home games
• Physical demands include running, lifting, standing for prolonged periods of time, and working long hours in a variety of weather conditions, including humidity, rain, and intense heat; this position calls for a great deal of physical exertion
• Ability to assist in set-up and breakdown, which may require frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Dancing/Entertainment background is a plus, but not required
• Knowledge of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, NFL, Football preferred

Responsibilities

• Run with large Buccaneers Flags (20lbs) through the end zones after each Buccaneers scoring play during all home games
• Assist with all needs as directed for pre-game, in-game, halftime, and post-game elements
• Engage with fans to create a fun and energetic atmosphere throughout game day and events by distributing giveaway items and demonstrating team spirit when appropriate
• Assist with the distribution and collection of all promotional and game-day materials
• Serve as an ambassador for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on game days and other events
• Other duties as assigned to enhance the overall game day entertainment and event experience as deemed necessary or as directed by the Events & Entertainment Manager/Coordinator
• Operate t-shirt cannons and other promotional items as needed
