About The Position

Leads engineering planning and administration for the Technical Center, owning processes for configuration and document control, PLM data flow, compliance, and performance tracking. Defines and governs KPIs and drives continuous process improvement across engineering change, data management, and compliance workflows. Communicates proactively with Japan technical centers and leads a distributed team across multiple states.

Requirements

  • Expertise in PLM (ENOVIA EBOM/PDM) and CATIA; strong configuration/document control background.
  • Hands-on administration of ECR/ECA processes and IMDS submissions in automotive or electromechanical products.
  • Proven ability to define KPIs and manage process performance; strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration across cultures and locations.
  • 5+ years in engineering planning, configuration/document control, or program administration; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process Ownership: Define, maintain, and improve engineering planning processes (ECR/ECA administration, document control, ENOVIA access, IMDS submissions).
  • KPI Definition & Governance: Establish KPIs (e.g., ECA throughput/cycle time, IMDS quality), monitor results, publish dashboards, and lead corrective actions.
  • PLM & Data Management: Oversee ENOVIA/EBOM/PDM workflows, CAD data exchange (CATIA), and controlled record storage standards.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure adherence to QMS requirements, including PRP approvals and IMDS regulations; maintain audit-ready records.
  • Resource & Capital Planning Support: Maintain skills tracking and resource datasets; support capital plan readiness and CIP/task closure follow-up.
  • Coordination with Japan technical centers and Engineering Planning.
  • Communication & Reporting: Deliver KPI dashboards, status reports, and procedural updates to leadership and stakeholders.
