Responsibilities Bachelor’s degree in Mine, Civil or Geological Engineering 15 plus years of experience as a Mine Engineer Open Cut and Base Metals Experience preferred. Experience leading technical and operating teams in mining required Must be skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards Must have experience in Resources and Reserves Reporting (JORC Competent Person Not Required), Long Term Strategic Mine Planning and Short Term Mine Planning and scheduling Must have practical general knowledge in geology, hydrology and geotechnical areas of mining as needed to effectively manage a multi disciplined team. Must be able to communicate effectively Must have experience in AutoCAD, MineSight, or comparable Mine Planning Software. Experience working in a continuous improvement culture Valid Driver’s license Proven safe work record. Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions.
