The Manager, Engineering - Enterprise Sheet Metal & Assemblies leads a team of technical experts to deliver complex projects from start to finish with a high degree of autonomy. This role relies on strong communication skills to inspire and motivate the team, driving them to overcome challenges and achieve results. Working closely with product management, business development, manufacturing, human resources, and engineering peers, the manager shapes programs and fosters talent development. By combining growing strategic insight with deep technical expertise, the manager enhances team performance and contributes to overall financial success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required; master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years sheet metal engineering experience; 10+ years engineering leadership experience.
• Strong communication, active listening, and presentation skills from individual contributor to director level audiences.
• Hands-on knowledge of complete manufacturing process required.
• 10% travel both domestic and international.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

• Unigraphics experience a plus.
• Datacenter and enterprise knowledge preferred, including experience with structure cabling or sheet metal manufacturers making cases or enclosures.

Responsibilities

• Drive Project Success: Lead department initiatives to design new products, refine existing designs, and improve processes.
• Oversee critical projects, applying expertise to ensure successful outcomes.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to shape product roadmaps, standards, and policies.

• Compensation: The expected annual base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000. This role qualifies for an incentive plan based on individual and company performance.
