Requirements

  • 6+ years in analytics, category management, merchandising analytics, or e‑commerce operations
  • Proven hands-on experience analyzing and forecasting sales, and in pricing analytics
  • Strong analytical skills with hands‑on experience in Excel
  • Experience with Tableau Desktop app
  • Understanding of e‑commerce KPIs and customer funnels
  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with large online retailers or DTC e‑commerce platforms
  • Familiarity with experimentation / A/B testing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, Engineering, or similar.
  • Masters degree preferred
  • Structured analytical and data-driven problem‑solver with strong business judgment
  • Detail‑oriented with an owner’s mindset
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast‑paced environments
  • Strong communication skills; able to influence without authority

Responsibilities

  • Analyze SKU‑level performance, develop sales forecast
  • Own weekly category performance reporting (revenue, units, margin, ASP, conversion, traffic, attachment, inventory health)
  • Diagnose performance drivers using funnel analysis (traffic → PDP → cart → checkout)
  • Automate recurring analyses where possible
  • Build clear narratives and executive‑ready readouts with implications and actions
  • Support new product launches and end‑of‑life decisions with data‑backed recommendations
  • Evaluate pricing competitiveness, elasticity, and promotional effectiveness
  • Model promo scenarios and forecast lift, margin impact, and halo effects
  • Run promotions post-mortem and feed learnings into future plans
  • Monitor inventory coverage, sell‑through, and risk signals (aging / OOS)
  • Flag demand shifts early and partner with SCM on actions
