This role provides supervision of service operations for food preparations and service to ensure resident enjoyment and satisfaction. The Manager contributes to account revenue and operating profit through service implementation and growth opportunities. A strong emphasis is placed on safe and efficient food preparation and service delivery across multiple levels of care. Responsibilities include directing daily food service operations, ensuring employees have necessary equipment, inventory, and resources, and overseeing all dining room operations (waited table service, food bars, buffets) and food preparation in collaboration with the kitchen team and registered dietician. The manager is also responsible for inventory management (food, equipment, dining room supplies), budget control, ensuring a clean, neat, fully stocked, and excellent dining experience for customers, and ensuring compliance with all sanitation guidelines and federal/state/Senior Living/Healthcare regulations. The position involves training, coaching, and mentoring employees with a customer hospitality orientation, establishing and maintaining operating and safety standards, implementing process improvements, overseeing food preparation, portioning, garnishing, presentation, and safe storage, and ensuring the sanitation and organization of kitchen equipment, storage facilities, and the dining room.
