About The Position

The Digital Shelf Manager will be a dedicated resource for the management of the company's digital shelf, encompassing content, imagery, search, and site navigation with established retailers and marketplaces. This role is responsible for executing and tracking best practices on the digital shelf, as well as piloting new approaches to enhance the shopper experience with eRetailers. The manager will lead relationships with a network of partners for digital shelf content creation, syndication, tracking, maintenance, and optimization, and will develop ad hoc analyses based on sales data and on-site metrics. Additionally, this individual will collaborate with eRetail key account managers and assist in scaling eCommerce fundamentals across various regions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, emphasis in business or marketing related fields, highly preferred
  • 1-3 years experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, market research, consumer packaged goods or related fields
  • Experience in and fundamental understanding of UX design and research
  • Prior experience processing large data sets of using web analytics on search trends
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize & leverage multiple data points/insights (shopper, consumer, category, product) to create digital shelf best practices that unlock growth in e-commerce
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguity

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with syndicated data, software and measures (IRI, Nielsen, demographic data, panel data, etc.) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automated syndication workflows both internally and to external retailers, marketplaces and analytics tools
  • Leverage PIMs (Salsify / Syndigo) to set up new items and map direct connections and custom exports tailored to the retailer's requirements
  • Improve retailer Content Scores across Walmart and Target
  • Leverage tools to improve digital shelf: Ratings & Reviews campaigns, SEO optimization, and others
  • Leverage digital shelf analytics platforms as needed to garner insights to action with accounts
  • Work with agencies for creation of Product Detail Page and Onsite Merch assets (banners, tiles and brand pages) to provide the retailer with best-in-class content tied to packaging updates, new items, seasonal imagery and Must Win Occasions
  • Oversee onsite merch brief and brand approval processes
  • Manage digital shelf contractors
  • Ad hoc work as necessary tied to eCommerce trainings, presentations to highlight digital shelf successes, work with digital shelf partners, etc.
