As Manager, Digital Product Training, you will be responsible for the creation, development and implementation of training materials and course curriculum, to be utilized by the different cross functional teams at Alcon including sales, service, program managers, digital architects, field service, clinical applications and digital enablement teams. You will be responsible for collaborating with the different global and regional training teams to ensure roles and responsibilities, and content development scope, are well defined. You will develop a process that ensures optimal hand-over of materials and resources to relevant groups so they can be incorporated into their training curriculum as appropriate. You will conduct train the trainer activities to ensure global and regional trainers are confident with the material and resources provided to them. You will collaborate with the Surgical Senior Directors of Digital Product Management, Product Deployment and Product Marketing, to develop and execute against a digital-first application support strategy, including the use of both in-app and off-app training and support tools, that will ensure new and existing users of Alcon’s Adi applications are confident to utilize the full capabilities and workflows within the products. Prior experience and knowledge required: Clinical and surgical ophthalmology workflow knowledge. Familiar with the different clinical and surgical ophthalmology personas and core user needs. Ophthalmology DICOM workflow knowledge. Ophthalmology EHR and PMS workflow knowledge including HL7 and FHIR. Knowledge about the different types of in-App user training and user support tools being utilized within the MedTech industry for SAMD and non-SAMD applications. Understand how to evaluate if a customer meets the minimum specifications provided by product and engineering for equipment and digital applications. Ability to engage with customer IT teams to share and collect all the necessary data needed for a successful installation, including connectivity to devices and Healthcare IT systems. Ability to engage with purchasing decision makers and IT professionals to evaluate suitability of on-prem versus cloud-based applications for their clinical workflow and business needs. Ability to share and collect data to successfully address security and privacy questionnaires. PowerPoint development and presentation skills. Experience training technical and non-technical associates digital and networking concepts.
