The successful candidate would manage automation portfolios for different products and portfolios. As a key member of this organization, Manager of Automation COE will identify automation opportunities in partnership with LOB, GBI and other key stakeholders. Would create a prioritized roadmap aligned with capabilities, focused on ACE Studio platform, and implement portfolio management activities. This role has global scope, would manage a distributed team of Project Owners, interact with different business units and different technology tools to deliver on the long-term business strategy for Automation. It includes partnership with Capabilities, American Express Technologies (AET), and Global Servicing (GS) Operations. The incumbent will join a team of automation Program Managers responsible for adhering to the automation principles!

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple high-priority projects working to timelines.
  • Experience of working with a broad range of business partners
  • Excellent communication skills to clarify expectations and drive alignment.
  • Demonstrate ability to successfully get results within a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to work independently, overcome obstacles, resolve complex problems with efficiency to get results.
  • Experience in Agile delivery methodology, preferable as working as part of a scrum team.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in GS processes is preferred.
  • Experience in ACE /API/Advanced Automation tools beneficial.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, customers and collaborators.

Responsibilities

  • Product Manager for GS functions.
  • Build strong relationships with business partners and the broader team.
  • Provide leadership to global team.
  • Identify suitable automation opportunities, design and identify benefits for different process and products.
  • Manage different priorities at same time, take decisions and handle partner concerns.
  • Interact with different automation units like Digital operations, PMO and other PMs.
  • Engage colleagues and assign portfolio initiatives.
