About The Position

Provides leadership and supervision to the Nutrition Services staff to maintain effective communications and public relations. Plans, organizes, directs and controls all activities of the department to provide optimum food service for patients, employees and visitors.

Requirements

  • College degree in Food or Nutrition related field or four years food service management in industry; prefer experience in Healthcare facility.
  • Four years experience in retail food service management.
  • Experience of food production, cafeteria management, merchandising and general knowledge of accounting principles preferred.
  • Computer skills: Windows, Excel, Word, cash register
  • Food Handler Safety Training Card.
  • Must achieve Servesafe Certification within 90-days of employment.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide serviceappropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
  • Must comply with all local and state regulatory agencies.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience of food production, cafeteria management, merchandising and general knowledge of accounting principles preferred.
  • prefer experience in Healthcare facility.
