Manage and oversee the daily operation of assigned Dining Service area. Hiring, scheduling, and development of staff. Performs a variety of management functions for the efficient operation of the department, with major emphasis on Teamwork, service, and fiscal excellence. Administers employee performance evaluations, payroll, and ongoing education. Responsible for meeting all regulatory agency requirements pertaining to physical and food safety. Ensures that all employees follow all hospital guidelines. To assist the Department Director in working with customers/patients, as directed, in all matters relating to operations, in order to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial relationship. The Food Service Manager assists in supporting the highest possible level of customer satisfaction and employee engagement. Estimated salary range for this position is $63,918.68 - $83,094.28 / year depending on experience.
