Department OverviewOur Corporate Home Office has an exciting opportunity for a PMO Manager for markets supported by the Dallas Field Office. The PMO Manager is responsible for leading all Operations Deployment Activities in the Dallas Field Office, including direction of a team of Deployment Consultants locally. Frequent collaborator with other functions within Operations and acting as a strategic advisor to key leadership partners within the field office. Influence Field Office, BUs and FAC leads and own local calendar; develop/own implementation plans, define FO roles and responsibilities and lead vendor/installation processes. Note: The ideal candidate should reside within the Dallas Field Office territory (the field office covers Texas and some areasbordering the state). Travel requirements may vary (around ±50%) depending on geographic location, as this role supports a large regional area. Please note, this position focuses on operations project management, not IT project management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous People Leader role preferred
  • Previous Operations Deployment role preferred
  • Previous Project/Program Management experience

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • People Manager experience and the ability to implement talent management principles
  • McDonald’s experience preferred
  • Deep understanding of McDonald’s restaurant operations and new operations initiatives strongly preferred
  • Experienced project manager capable of quickly identifying and addressing implementation roadblocks
  • Builds strong relationships with Deployment Consultants to develop skills and ensure effective calendaring
  • Effectively leads complexity to oversee several concurrent initiatives
  • Versatile communicator with ability to convey ideas at various levels of granularity and tailor messaging to all audiences
  • Detail-oriented planner capable of building timelines and schedules to ensure on-time project execution

Responsibilities

  • Leads a team of Deployment Consultants responsible for planning and executing deployment of all priority business initiatives at a field office level
  • Oversees, coaches, and evaluates Deployment Consultants to ensure effective implementation of operations initiatives
  • Builds detailed deployment plans for new initiatives, process improvements, and system upgrades, including Level 1 initiatives across all restaurants in assigned area
  • Works with Deployment Consultants to build deployment schedules that effectively train stakeholders on new initiatives, process improvements or system to achieve Gold Standard deployments
  • Acts as an advisor to Business Integration and National Operations Directors to sequence initiative rollouts in assigned area according to business priorities, Deployment Consultant capacities, and other logistical considerations
  • Partners with Field Office Leadership Team on strategic planning, project management and activation plans for the field office and its business units to maximize results
  • Keeps the National plan at the center of all conversations and can work with stakeholders to bring it to life at a local level
  • Resolves bottlenecks and removes impediments to ensure deployment timelines are met
  • Partners with National Operations Directors & NABIT team to build effective training programs and establish consistent, effective operational process innovations / improvements
  • Escalates issues related to O/O organization deployment plans as appropriate to Franchise Business Partner or Operations Office
  • Stays connected to a robust group of stakeholders at a national and local level to build strategic alignment and reduce complexity
