Role and Responsibilities Position Overview We are seeking a strategic and analytical mid/long-term sale & demand forecasting planner to join our team in the mobile industry. This role is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts to support business decisions, ensuring alignment with promotion plans, market share goals, and sales targets. The ideal candidate will combine data analytics, market insights, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize sales performance and inventory management. This role requires occasional work outside of standard business hours to support the weekly system loading process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Science, Analytic or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or sales analytics in the mobile or technology industry
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in forecasting tools, Excel, and data visualization platforms
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage cross-functional teams
  • Ability to adapt to fast-changing market conditions and business needs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with large datasets, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics
  • Master’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop data-driven demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and promotional impact analyses
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to incorporate upcoming promotional campaigns into demand planning models
  • Ensure forecasts support strategic sales targets by identifying potential demand fluctuations and adjusting supply plans accordingly
  • Monitor and evaluate competitive trends to adjust forecasting models, ensuring the company maintains and grows its market position
  • Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid stockouts or excess inventory
  • Partner with product, marketing, finance, and sales teams to align demand forecasts with business objectives and market dynamics
  • Generate reports detailing forecast accuracy, sales performance comparing target, and promotional impact; continuously refine forecasting methods
  • Utilize forecasting software and AI-driven tools to improve prediction accuracy and efficiency
