About The Position

The Adult Day Program Manager is responsible for the overall direction, day-to-day operations, financial oversight, staffing, and quality assurance of the Adult Day Program (ADP). Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience with individuals with developmental disabilities required.
  • Relevant experience may substitute year-for-year for educational requirements.
  • Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
  • Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.
  • All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain health, safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance for all program participants.
  • Ensure compliance with DMH/DD, DHSS, Medicaid Waiver, and Fire Marshal regulations.
  • Oversee accurate and timely billing, documentation, and record-keeping for all funding sources.
  • Supervise and support all Day Program staff and volunteers, including onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Conduct staff interviews and lead recruitment efforts in the community.
  • Analyze and improve operational procedures for quality and efficiency.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, families, community partners, and funding representatives.
  • Promote a positive team culture through leadership, recognition, and open communication.
  • Monitor and manage staffing levels, minimizing overtime and ensuring appropriate coverage.
  • Implement quality management initiatives, ensuring program outcomes align with organizational goals.
  • Advocate for individuals served, ensuring services are person-centered and responsive to their needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
