About The Position

The Manager of Database Marketing will develop and lead the implementation of a world-class database marketing team to provide insight to drive improved HGV marketing campaign initiatives increasing sales and marketing volume and efficiency to meet growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the marketing database evolution to support the company's CRM, advanced analytics and targeted marketing needs
  • Leads the development of business requirements for new data elements and functionality in the marketing database.
  • Structure, direct and perform detailed data collection and analysis of marketing operations, performance metrics, and consumer segmentation to enable growth and efficiency utilizing Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Google Analytics, Adobe Campaign and Segment.
  • Leads the database focused analysts to guide implementation of techniques, campaign reporting and functionality to support targeting and insight development activities
  • Develop high-level summaries of analytics and findings in clear and concise terms. Specific areas of analysis include marketing operations process and financial analysis, forecasting, market segmentation, predictive modeling, package analysis, trend analysis, variance analysis and explanation and timely performance reporting.
  • Identify points of opportunity for enhanced targeting capabilities, and optimization of marketing database and communicate to the Senior Director of Marketing Data and Analytics
  • Collaborate with IT on all requirements necessary for system enhancements, campaign execution and projects.
  • Provide direct reports with guidance in day-to-day activities, coaching for professional development and performance evaluations for merit system.
  • Partner with internal and external business partners to assess needs, special projects, ad hoc reporting and analysis, architect streamlined solutions, execute and manage
  • Ensure we adhere to all data privacy policies and develop new processes as necessary to react to changes
