Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in creative strategy or marketing, with a proven track record of managing and mentoring creative teams.
  • At least 2 years of client relationship management experience, delivering on creative goals and collaborating closely with either in-house or agency creative teams through the ideation, production, and review process.
  • Demonstrated personal expertise in campaign development, creative optimization, and data-driven strategies.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data from platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Snapchat, TikTok, and YouTube and deriving insights that can inform performance-driven creative strategies
  • Familiarity with email, web, display, and social channels, with a focus on innovation and optimization.
  • Understanding of A/B and multivariate testing methodologies.
  • Ability to understand and translate business goals into actionable marketing and communication objectives.
  • Interpret and analyze research findings and reports, utilizing insights to enhance strategies.
  • Summarize and share third-party research within concise presentations that inform both internal teams and clients.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills for in-person pitches and presenting work to both new and prospective clients ranging in seniority.
  • Empathetic, people-first approach to management
  • Possess a test-learn mindset (“how can something be 10% better than the last time we tried it?”)
  • Inquisitive nature and willingness to ask questions, learn and adapt to new technologies, e.g. generative AI.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership Define and oversee the creative strategy for client campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives and marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., creative studio, media planning, client partnership, analytics) to develop integrated creative solutions tailored to audience segments and client KPIs
  • Leverage data insights to refine strategies and drive innovation in creative outputs.
  • Support and build upon new approaches to creativity strategy, including content and creative strategy synergies, new curator-led brand creative approaches, and AI enabled performance creative
  • Team Management Manage and mentor a team of Creative Strategists, providing clear direction, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Help manage partnership with the Creative Studio to maximize value of creative delivery to clients
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Creative Oversight Guide the development of audience-specific creative strategies, testing plans, and performance optimization across channels such as paid social media, display, streaming TV, and more, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client expectations.
  • Review and approve creative concepts, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and client/channel/industry best practices.
  • Support pitch presentations and client communications as the account’s senior creative lead.
  • Innovation and Trends Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and generative AI tools to incorporate new ideas into campaigns.
  • Encourage experimentation and new ways to implement creative testing to optimize creative performance.
