Manager, Creative Strategy - epocrates We are looking for a Manager of Creative Strategy to join the Creative Studio team within our epocrates division. In this role, the Manager of Creative Strategy will sit at the intersection of advertising strategy and creative execution, translating advertiser goals into compelling campaign concepts, messaging frameworks, and custom activations. As a strategic storyteller, this individual will shape how advertising programs are positioned, sold, and brought to life by connecting audience behavior, performance insights, and brand objectives to creative direction. The Manager of Creative Strategy will support revenue-driving advertising opportunities, help inform creative and ad format decisions, and contribute to product and program enhancements based on campaign performance. The Team: The Creative Studio team within epocrates builds and supports advertising solutions that help advertisers reach healthcare audiences through effective, well-designed campaigns and ad experiences. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy, brand storytelling, integrated marketing, or a related field required.
  • Demonstrated experience developing messaging frameworks, campaign concepts, and narrative strategy required.
  • Strong ability to translate business objectives and media plans into creative storytelling approaches required.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and editorial direction skills required.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and operational teams required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in digital advertising, media publishing, healthcare marketing, B2B marketing, sponsored content, native advertising, or integrated campaigns preferred.
  • Experience leveraging AI specific tools from a strategic positioning perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative strategy for custom and high-value advertising campaigns.
  • Translate media strategy and advertiser objectives into clear campaign concepts, messaging frameworks, and narrative structures.
  • Partner with RFP teams and market leaders to develop compelling integrated offerings during proposal development.
  • Develop creative briefs that clearly communicate campaign objectives, messaging hierarchy, audience insights, and execution requirements.
  • Guide sponsored content and integrated program storytelling by creating outlines, story structures, and editorial direction for long-form and thought leadership content.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Media Strategy, Creative Execution, Ad Operations, and Campaign Delivery teams to ensure alignment from strategic recommendation through final execution.
  • Incorporate campaign performance insights into future messaging and creative strategy recommendations.
  • Work closely with partners across creative execution, sales, RFP support, ad operations, and campaign delivery, the team connects creative development with business goals and operational success.
