About The Position

The Manager of Contract Administration oversees the full lifecycle of transportation and broker contracts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with UniGroup’s business goals. This role leads a team of Contract Administrators and Senior Contract Administrators, manages workflows across high-value national account agreements, and collaborates with cross-functional partners including Legal and Sales. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly organized, and comfortable serving as the escalation point for complex or sensitive contract scenarios. This position plays a key role in reducing risk, maintaining high-quality contract standards, and supporting a positive experience for agents, members, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience that includes team leadership or supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to navigate complex situations, analyze information, and make informed decisions

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and approve national account contracts through the Contract Management System (CMS) with attention to risk, operational requirements, and company standards
  • Monitor contract performance, deadlines, renewals, and compliance requirements
  • Provide training and ongoing support to internal teams on CMS processes and best practices
  • Advise agents and the Sales team on contract structures, requirements, and service strategies
  • Partner with the Legal Department and subject matter experts to ensure contract language is clear, accurate, and consistent
  • Respond to inquiries from internal staff, agents, and customers regarding active, pending, and negotiated agreements
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for contract issues while maintaining professionalism and alignment with business objectives
  • Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and risk mitigation within contract workflows
  • Lead and mentor a team of four Contract Administrators by supporting workload balance, development, and adherence to high-quality standards
  • Assist with department initiatives and complete other responsibilities as assigned
