About The Position

The Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing is responsible for supplier lifecycle management for Contingent Workforce (CW), Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) supplier engagements. This role will bring creativity, experience, and guidance to lead the team in selecting, evaluating, establishing, and cultivating supplier partnerships. This role is instrumental in helping to establish supplier strategies and driving supplier panel rationalization, to minimize risk and maximize value. This role works closely with Newrez Line of Business leadership and our Vendor partners.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of proven experience successfully managing third party Vendor relationships, preferably outsourcing and/or contingent workforce engagements.
  • Mortgage Industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with IT-related concepts.
  • Understanding of Third Party/Vendor regulatory requirements as they relate to non-bank Servicers and Originators.
  • Vendor Management Systems experience, preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills; strong writing and composition abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization.
  • Strong consultative and collaborative work style.
  • High learning agility with the ability to learn and integrate business variables and learn new systems and platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills & problem-solving abilities; solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Management and oversight of Contingent Workforce.
  • Function as a Primary Point of Contact and an escalation point for Newrez Line of Business and Vendor Partners.
  • Support communication and coordination of requests for proposal/quotes, bids, and contract negotiations with suppliers.
  • Provide continuous communication, detailed instruction, and follow-up to support the business team through vendor selection and onboarding.
  • Facilitation of contracting activities, including drafting language, negotiating terms, redlining terms, and finalizing contract language.
  • Oversee and disposition contracts which are up for renewals.
  • Ensure successful migration of managed services work to Suppliers, using the Newrez IDEAS Transition Framework.
  • Assist in leading supplier performance review meetings, oversight of supplier contract compliance and the overall performance of service obligations.
  • Ensure timely and complete vendor governance/oversight activities and reporting.
  • Act as an escalation path for Newrez Business Units and supplier partners Partner with Newrez Business Units and Suppliers partners on corrective action/remediation efforts, and facilitation of service level credits where applicable.
  • Access Management oversight.
  • Data validation and report development to include the preparation and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Participation in the integration, management and oversight of department’s Vendor Management System (VMS).
  • Assist with audit/testing of Newrez suppliers.
  • Deliver prompt, positive communication and service to both our internal and external partners, with a strong focus on customer experience.
