About The Position

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Marketing team is looking for a dynamic Manager, Content Marketing, who shares our passion for digital media and is skilled in online media and marketing with proven success in creating successful digital content marketing campaigns and driving engagement for thought leadership products. As the Manager, Content Marketing at the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), you are a creative storyteller and insightful thinker who thrives on driving successful digital marketing campaigns. You are both a leader and an individual contributor, capable of managing strategic and operational levels. Your enthusiasm for the advertising, marketing, and media industries, coupled with your excellent communication skills, make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B/Enterprise, Marketing, or Sales Marketing role within the Advertising & Media Industry.
  • 2+ years of manager-level experience.
  • Strong B2B digital content marketing experience with successful performance campaign execution.
  • Experience creating strategy and narratives derived from research and insights.
  • Exceptional writing skills with an eye for design.
  • Working knowledge of email marketing platforms, website design tools, CMS, and CRMs.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Experience engaging with teams cross-functionally.
  • Deep understanding of the digital media landscape and advertising technology.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.

  • Management experience of direct reports.
  • Web design and video editing experience.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress, HubSpot, Salesforce, Canva, Google Ads, Google Analytics, social media posting platforms, or HTML/CSS.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and execute the digital marketing and communications/PR strategy for IAB thought leadership initiatives, products, and webinars.
  • Function as a strategic partner to various IAB business units.
  • Lead omnichannel marketing for the departments' initiatives/work products.
  • Develop the content strategy and write compelling narratives for email, website, and social media.
  • Drive creative asset development and manage an external PR agency.
  • Create content marketing for various initiatives through the promotion of white papers, reports, and webinars.
  • Test new digital channels and strategies, project manage cross-functional teams, and manage marketing budgets.
  • Optimize campaign performance and analyze results.
  • Assist in developing the Marketing Coordinator on the team.
  • Lead the development of work products (white papers, reports, one-sheets, webinars).
  • Produce content marketing plans to support work products and webinars.
  • Write compelling narratives and copy from data and insights.
  • Project manage marketing deliverables with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Partner with business units and program management team to understand the year-long roadmap.
  • Brief the PR team on initiatives/work products and work closely with them.
  • Develop Scope of Work (SOW) agreements, manage marketing budgets, and update tracking documents.
  • Coordinate SEM/SEO and social media efforts.
  • Act as a backup for IAB Social Media Manager and IAB.com where needed.
