About The Position

The Manager, Consulting Services (MCS) has dual responsibility for both leadership and coaching of Consulting Operations resources and fulfilling billable hours project work. The MCS oversees a team of regional Consulting Operations resources: Senior Consultants, Lead Consultants, Consultants, and Analysts. The MCS works closely with department leadership and Project Managers to support Mosaic's culture, provide timely feedback, and support the professional development efforts of team members. The MCS is responsible for fulfilling billable work hours and stepping into various roles on a client project. The MCS works with the consulting project team in the design and development of deliverables for solutions to meet Mosaic and its clients' needs. The MCS leads small to large teams and works closely with subject matter experts, consulting team members, and other stakeholders to design curriculum and develop learning objectives, storyboards, content, assessments, and interactive elements. The MCS may function as an individual contributor, Project Manager, subject matter expert, or strategic advisor, based on skill set, timing, and client and project needs.

Requirements

  • Intermediate experience in training, consulting, or managing training
  • Experience in a project leadership role, including Project Manager, Workstream Lead, or other role requiring leadership of a team.
  • Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills on multiple Mosaic projects with an ability to lead and influence teams and clients.
  • Demonstrated mastery of one or more of the following areas: Consulting QA Training and Delivery Curriculum Development
  • Ability to be self-aware and reflective on individual areas of opportunity and
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct sensitive and/or difficult conversations around performance with team members.
  • Solid understanding of and experience within the energy and utility sector or enterprise software implementation.
  • Advanced knowledge of training design, development, and delivery
  • Ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations using advanced interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, Communications, English, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work location required.
  • Travel required depending on client/project needs.

  • Proactively gathers performance feedback and provides timely and effective coaching with a focus on areas of growth, opportunity, successes, and lessons learned.
  • Conducts performance review and feedback sessions with direct Cascades company communications to direct reports and provides leadership in adoption of
  • Identifies resource strengths and potential and adapts to different skills and styles to develop capabilities in direct reports and project team members.
  • Provides day-to-day support to team members and proactively finds solutions that address any concerns.
  • Serves as a Mosaic brand ambassador to promote the Mosaic brand with employees, clients, and the community at large.
  • Collaborates with other Managers to implement new ideas and best
  • Partners with department leadership to ensure that direct reports meet or exceed performance expectations, meet client and team expectations, and are happy with their project role.

  • Facilitate workshops or interviews with client stakeholders and subject matter experts to generate business cases.
  • Effectively build relationships with key clients and stakeholders to influence program and project-level
  • Facilitate meetings and participate in working sessions with clients; communicate best practices to the client to aid in decision-making.
