The American Express Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) function provides second-line policy, framework, oversight, and control solutions to meet the Company’s legal, regulatory and risk management mandates in connection with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF), Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC). The GFCC portfolio comprises all aspects of the Company’s first and second-line financial crime risk management (FCRM) activities, including all lines of businesses in the United States and both proprietary and non-proprietary global markets. Reporting to the Director, GFCC Training, the Training Execution Manager will: Oversee the operational delivery and execution of Financial Crimes training across the enterprise. Lead the execution and rollout of enterprise Financial Crimes training programs, including AML, Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption training initiatives. Manage the end-to-end training deployment process, including scheduling, communications, and learner enrollment. Ensure training programs are delivered on time and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Education, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in training operations, learning program management, or corporate training delivery.
  • Experience with enterprise training programs in a regulated environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training reporting tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with learning design team to coordinate the deployment of new or updated training content.
  • Manage operational processes for training assignments, completion tracking, and compliance reporting.
  • Oversee training program logistics including session planning, facilitator coordination, and learner support.
  • Serve as a key partner to GFCC and business stakeholders to support training rollout and adoption.
  • Communicate training requirements, deadlines, and expectations to impacted teams across the enterprise.
  • Provide guidance to leaders and stakeholders on training completion requirements and program expectations.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting to support regulatory reviews, audits, and compliance monitoring.
  • Monitor training completion and escalate risks related to non-compliance or delayed completion.
  • Track and analyze training metrics, completion data, and learner feedback.
  • Identify opportunities to improve training delivery processes, efficiency, and learner experience.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for the Financial Crimes training program.
