The Clinical Manager practices professional nursing by performing acts which require substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skill based upon applied principles of psychological, physical, and social sciences. The clinical manager is responsible for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the practice and their effect on patient care in a designated unit. The clinical manager has authority to make decisions on that unit in the areas of patient care, human resource, and financial management. The clinical manager is responsible for department's operations. This person demonstrates superior communication skills with all internal and external customers and exhibits a high degree of integrity, a solid character, and sound judgment.
