About The Position

The Client Account Manager will ensure the sustained, profitable growth of the business by managing the end-to-end sales project pipeline for new and existing customers. This involves leveraging technical expertise to define customer requirements, oversee the successful onboarding and delivery of new parts, and optimize the utilization of machine capacity. This position will play a pivotal role in coordinating with internal teams (Engineering, Operations, Quality) to meet technical specifications, building trusting partnerships, and ensuring the reliable delivery of commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (preferred)
  • 3 years of B2B Industrial sales experience in CNC machining (preferred)
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Epicor ERP & Salesforce experience a plus
  • Willingness to travel at least 10% for prospecting, trade shows, and customer qualification
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Possess strong time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates ability to read, write, speak, hear and interpret documents and instructions from both verbal and written English
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must perform well in stressful situations, and be able to maintain positive customer relationships
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds safely
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, stoop, crouch and kneel
  • Required to use hands to handle, touch and feel office equipment and computers
  • Vision requirements include (corrective or non) close range, distance, color, depth and focus
  • Comply with all company, safety and quality policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Qualify new customers and projects based on Company metrics to ensure a strong alignment between Company’s capabilities and customer requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering and customers to ensure that product solutions meet technical specifications and expectations.
  • Negotiate conditions of sale while maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Manage new business & the onboarding of new parts.
  • Track sales progress and provide regular reporting on opportunities, pipeline, and forecasts.
  • Follow up with customers regularly to maintain a “first in mind” relationship.
  • Report on monthly KPIs.
  • Forecast analysis.
  • Assist leadership in creating an annual sales budget.
  • Navigate ERP software and CRM platform to obtain needed information
