About The Position

Tout CPA, a full-service certified public accounting firm, is seeking an experience Manager in our Client Accounting Services department. This role is a leadership position accountable for managing the activities of accounting staff and is responsible for budgets, forecasts, analytics, and developing KPIs, while providing insight and making recommendations to clients. The ideal candidate will be a strong individual contributor and team leader, while providing exceptional outsourced controllership and advisory services as well as strategic direction to various clients.

Requirements

• Five (5) or more years of Accounting Management or Controller level experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or CMA license highly recommended but not required
• Expert working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or Sage Intacct accounting software package.
• Strong technical skills including the ability to effectively utilize technology and the commitment to learning in a technology environment
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive team environment

Responsibilities

• Preparation of complex key performance indicators (KPIs) and other management reports
• Assist with establishing and maintaining standardized accounting procedures and processes
• Produce all relevant financial statement reports on monthly and annual basis
• Oversee accounting/bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of small/medium businesses with accuracy under possible tight deadlines (A/P, A/R, bank transactions, payroll entries, month end journals)
• Act as client liaison and communicate directly with clients as part of bookkeeping and accounts preparation process.
• Build and maintain client relationships focused on excellent customer service.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
