About The Position

While the Manager, Change Management does not have supervisory responsibility, this person will work through many others in the organization to succeed. The Change Management Manager will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. The Change Management Manager may also provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The Change Management Manager will support program level teams in integrating change management activities into their program plans. This is a hybrid position based at any major Collins facility. What YOU will do: Develop an OCM strategy and roadmap for new initiatives to improve adoption of Digital Technology initiatives Support the Digital Technology team to develop stakeholder outreach and engagement efforts to obtain awareness, understanding, buy-in and support Work with team members to recommend, develop and implement OCM strategies. Identify current and future state capabilities/issues, understand the behavioral changes and education needed to complete the transition and develop and execute the plan for driving adoption. Design functional/initiative-level change plans in partnership with other strategic initiative leaders. Liaise with key partners across Collins/RTX to ensure company-wide change imperatives are incorporated and reinforced in Enterprise-wide change management program and minimize the risks to business disruption. Collaborate with key Executives and other leaders across the enterprise to ensure that Change Management plans align with business strategy and strategic roadmap. Manage complex cross functional stakeholder alignment and issue and risk resolution. Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities Assess the change impact. Complete change management assessments. Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics. Identify and manage anticipated resistance. Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan. Researches, evaluates, and recommends delivery strategies, topics, techniques, and tools to enhance the learning experience. Interacts with customer and subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of instructional content. Able to effectively deliver complex training and organization development programs/presentations to groups. Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities. Integrate change management activities into program plan. Evaluate and ensure user readiness. Manage stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 6 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • Must be willing and able to travel 5% of the time

  • Experience in Agile Methodology a plus.
  • Change management certification or designation desired.
  • Prosci Certification a plus.
