About The Position

As a Manager, Category Management, OPEX you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, standardizing processes, and enhancing operational performance across category management organization. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to improve efficiency, reduce waste, strengthen core processes, and improve end-to-end value streams. You will report to the Senior Manager, CoE Category Management and work remote. This position is 100% remote.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+years of experience in category management, supply chain operations or operational excellence
  • Proficiency in Project and Visio

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary owner and facilitator of operational excellence projects within category management.
  • Lead the segmentation and analysis of operational processes to identify improvement opportunities, use performance gaps, and build action plans that drive operational excellence
  • Develop and maintain an enterprise-level operational excellence strategy focused on improving productivity, quality, delivery, safety, and cost performance.
  • Execute the operational excellence roadmap through deployment of Lean methodologies, standard work, Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Review PowerBI dashboards, analytics, and other data tools to produce insights into operational performance drivers and translate them into improvement priorities.
  • Facilitate structured business reviews with leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring agreement on key performance indicators and improvement projects.
  • Create compelling presentations for operational assessments, performance reviews, risk mitigation plans, 4‑Blocker updates, and operational gap analyses.
  • Develop and execute annual improvement plans tied to organizational metrics—including productivity, on‑time delivery, process capability, quality performance, and cost optimization
  • Research industry trends, best practices, benchmarking data, and continuous improvement methodologies to strengthen operational competitiveness.
