The Manager, Case Processing at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for overseeing the operational and management activities of case processing at a designated Case Processing Center. This role involves liaising with various functions within Global Medical Safety Operations to ensure compliant and efficient case management, managing personnel, and contributing to process development and training.

  • Direct and supervise operational and management activities of case processing at a defined Case Processing Center.
  • Liaise with staff in Global Medical Safety Operations (GMSO) functions to facilitate compliant, timely, and efficient end-to-end case management.
  • Manage teams in daily activities related to case processing, including performance management and staff development.
  • Participate in recruitment of staff and identify resource needs for team functioning.
  • Evaluate and identify staff training needs to ensure all personnel are trained.
  • Provide expertise in operations activities including case processing.
  • Contribute to the development of processes and project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal GMSO personnel to develop consistent processes.
  • Work with other J&J departments to clarify procedures.
  • Participate in or lead local and international multidisciplinary functional teams.
  • Support senior management in internal audits and external inspections.
  • Accountable for decision-making related to processes and product-specific requirements relevant to assigned team.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a health-related field.
  • An advanced degree (i.e., Nursing, PharmD, PhD) or other related scientific degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of pharma experience is required.
  • 1+ years of management experience is required.
  • Previous industry and/or clinical experience with a focus on pharmaceutical safety is required.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with safety reporting and regulatory compliance is required.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a team is required.
  • Ability to evaluate processes and procedures against outcomes is required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are required.
  • Previous experience in a relevant management role is preferred.
  • Knowledge or experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio preferred.
