The Manager of Carbon Capture Solutions (CCS) Engineering is a strategic leadership role responsible for influencing, bidding, winning, and executing high-value opportunities involving carbon capture technologies. This leader serves as a high-level expert in integrating decarbonization strategies—specifically CO2 capture, compression, and storage—into the GE Vernova Gas Power solutions portfolio. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineering experts focused on New Product Introduction (NPI) and Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) aspects of CCS. This role requires extensive collaboration across Marketing, Product Management, Sourcing, and Application Engineering to deliver industry-best plant integration and advance next-generation low-carbon technologies to meet global energy transition needs. Drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination. Owns/influences budgets and operating plans. The role is guided by operating policy. Works with cross functional teams. The role has autonomy within the operational area or a segment within a larger business unit. The role may have a major impact on a small business unit or Family within a Function or P&L. High levels of evaluative judgment and operational acumen are required to achieve outcomes.
