Amazon Web Services is looking for a Manager, Procurement Operations to help build a scalable, predictive, and prescriptive supply chain for our AIS Power and Cooling organization. You will be part of the AIS Power and Cooling Program Management team working with Category Managers, Supply Managers, Materials Managers, Project and Constructions Managers, Finance, and other partner teams to achieve our goals. This role requires an individual with excellent knowledge of supply chain, procurement processes, submittal process, and tools and systems used in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and submittal process in a fast paced ever changing environment. You will be responsible for managing a team of highly talented and motivated individuals, drive scalability in the Procurement Operations function, improve our automation tools and systems, and use metrics and KPIs to drive performance improvement and minimize supply chain risks. Data-driven decision-making is at the core of Amazon’s culture. You will own building solutions and administering procurement risk and compliance management that enable senior leaders to make critical business decisions. Manager, Business Transformation is responsible for overseeing the entire procurement and technical submittal process, ensuring that goods and services are acquired efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining quality standards and compliance with global and local regulations. This role involves people management, cross functional collaboration for strategic planning and risk management, process standardization and automation, metrics to drive performance improvement and, continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools and systems.
